House Bill 1235
AN ACT TO PROHIBIT A COURT FROM REQUIRING ANY FORM OF IDENTIFICATION AS A CONDITION TO ENTER THE BUILDING OR ANY AREA OR ROOM IN THE COURT BUILDING; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. No court in the state may require any form of identification as a condition for entrance into a court building or for entrance into any area or room inside the court building, except as otherwise provided for voting or carrying firearms.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2015.
