House Bill 120

AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 37-151-6, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO REQUIRE FULL FUNDING OF THE MISSISSIPPI ADEQUATE EDUCATION PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEAR 2016 AND EACH YEAR THEREAFTER; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  Section 37-151-6, Mississippi Code of 1972, is amended as follows:

     37-151-6. * * * EffectiveBeginning with fiscal year * * *2007 2016, and each year thereafter, the Legislature shall fully fund the Mississippi Adequate Education Program.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
