AN ACT TO REQUIRE PRIOR APPROVAL BY COMMISSIONER OF INSURANCE BEFORE ANY REMAINING MONIES ARE EXPENDED BY THE ASSOCIATION UPON THE CESSATION OF OPERATIONS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. Upon the cessation of operations by the Comprehensive Health Insurance Risk Pool Association, the distribution of any funds held by the association, including the refund of assessments, shall require the prior approval of the Commissioner of Insurance.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
