COMMITTEE AMENDMENT NO 1 PROPOSED TO

 

House Concurrent Resolution No.   21

 

BY: Committee

 

     Amend by striking all after line 3 and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

 

     BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, THE SENATE CONCURRING THEREIN, That a joint session of the House of Representatives and the Senate shall be held in the Second Floor Rotunda of the New Capitol Building, on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., to hear the State of the State address of Governor Tate Reeves.

     Further, amend by striking the title in its entirety and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

 

     A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR A JOINT SESSION OF THE MISSISSIPPI LEGISLATURE TO HEAR THE STATE OF THE STATE ADDRESS OF GOVERNOR TATE REEVES.
