AMENDMENT NO 1 PROPOSED TO

 

House Bill No. 1653

 

BY: Representative Hines

 

     AMEND after line 77 by inserting the following as a new paragraph:

     "Of the funds herein appropriated, an amount shall be provided for the first of three (3) salary increases in the amount of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) annually for employees of the State Forestry Commission.  It is the intention of the Legislature to provide for the second and third installments of salary increases for employees of the commission in fiscal years 2021 and 2022, respectively, and in amounts equal to the funds provided for such purposes in fiscal year 2020."

     Further, amend the title to conform.
