COMMITTEE AMENDMENT NO 1 PROPOSED TO

 

House Bill No. 1649

 

BY: Committee

 

     Amend by striking all after the enacting clause and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

 

     SECTION 1.  Upon the effective date of this act, the State Fiscal Officer shall transfer the sum of Nine Million Eight Hundred Twenty-one Thousand Three Hundred Twenty-eight Dollars ($9,821,328.00) from the Capital Expense Fund (Fund No. 6499C00000) to the Mississippi Main Street Revitalization Grant Fund (Fund No. 6615200000).

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.

    Further, amend by striking the title in its entirety and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

 

    AN ACT TO DIRECT THE STATE FISCAL OFFICER TO TRANSFER $9,821,328.00 FROM THE CAPITAL EXPENSE FUND TO THE MISSISSIPPI MAIN STREET REVITALIZATION GRANT FUND UPON THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ACT; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
