AMENDMENT NO 1 PROPOSED TO

 

House Bill No. 1649

 

BY: Representative Lamar

 

     AMEND by inserting the following after line 13 and renumbering the succeeding section(s) accordingly: 

     "SECTION *.  Upon the effective date of this act, the State Fiscal Officer shall transfer the sum of Nine Million Eight Hundred Twenty-one Thousand Three Hundred Twenty-eight Dollars ($9,821,328.00) from the Capital Expense Fund (Fund No. 6499C00000) to the Mississippi Main Street Revitalization Grant Fund (Fund No. 661416000)."

     AMEND FURTHER on line 15 by deleting the words and figures "July 1, 2026" and inserting in lieu thereof the words "its passage"

     AMEND FURTHER the title on line 2 by inserting the following language after the semicolon:  "TO DIRECT THE STATE FISCAL OFFICER TO TRANSFER $9,821,328.00 FROM THE CAPITAL EXPENSE FUND TO THE MISSISSIPPI MAIN STREET REVITALIZATION GRANT FUND UPON THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ACT;"
