AMENDMENT NO 1 TO SUBSTITUTE NO 1 FOR COMMITTEE AMENDMENT NO 1 PROPOSED TO

 

House Bill No. 1618

 

BY: Senator(s) Bryan, Simmons (12th)

 

     AMEND by inserting before the period on line 1081 the following language:

, provided that the Legislature appropriates Two Hundred Fifty Million Dollars ($250,000,000.00) to the system this year

     FURTHER, AMEND by inserting after the period on line 1081 the following language:

Notwithstanding any other provision in this section, in any year in which the Legislature does not appropriate Two Hundred Fifty Million Dollars ($250,000,000.00) to the system, the board shall retain its authority to increase the employer's contribution rate.
