House Bill No. 1286

     Amend on lines 22-26 by striking the following language, "The schools shall make inventory of the total quantity of books received and shall require the parents or legal guardians of student to purchase the book, as a component of the student's necessary instruction, at cost without recouping any pecuniary benefit from such sales.", and inserting in lieu thereof, the following:

"The schools shall make inventory of the total quantity of books received as a component of the student's necessary instruction, which shall be provided without cost or recoupment of any pecuniary benefit."
