AMENDMENT NO 8 PROPOSED TO

 

House Bill No.    1

 

BY: Representative Wilkes

 

     AMEND by deleting all of the language beginning after the period on line 852 through the period on line 1093 and inserting the following:  "Monies deposited into the fund shall be expended, upon appropriation by the Legislature, in equal amounts in each of the eighty-two (82) counties for roads, bridges and other infrastructure projects in the counties."

     AMEND FURTHER the title beginning with the word "USED" on line 42 through the semicolon line 43 and inserting the following: "EXPENDED IN EQUAL AMOUNTS IN EACH OF THE 82 COUNTIES FOR ROADS, BRIDGES AND OTHER INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS IN THE COUNTIES;
