            WHEREAS, the General Assembly has a long tradition of granting the use of the House of Representatives and Senate Chambers for mock legislative workshops conducted by civic organizations; and

 

            WHEREAS, the Missouri Community College Association - Student Government Association (MCCA-SGA) Spring Conference is an educational experience in state government for college students across the state by allowing such students to participate in mock legislative hearings and floor discussions of current issues that are of interest to college students:

 

            NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that we, the members of the Missouri House of Representatives, Ninety-seventh General Assembly, hereby grant the Missouri Community College Association - Student Government Association (MCCA-SGA) use of the House Chamber and House Hearing Rooms on Monday, February 25, 2013, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for a mock legislative session.
