AN ACT
To amend chapter 9, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to the designation of bone marrow awareness month.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Chapter 9, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 9.153, to read as follows:
9.153. The month of June of each year shall be known and designated as "Bone Marrow Awareness Month" in Missouri. It is recommended to the people of the state that the month be appropriately observed by providing information and increasing public awareness of the available bone marrow programs and screenings.
