AN ACT

To amend chapter 252, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to youth hunting.




Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:


            Section A. Chapter 252, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 252.042, to read as follows:

            252.042. Any person six years of age or older and under fifteen years of age, possessing a valid hunting permit, must hunt in the immediate presence of an adult hunter who is eighteen years of age or older and has in his or her possession a valid hunter education certificate card. Any such adult hunter shall not be required to possess a hunting permit while accompanying such youth hunter.
