AN ACT

To amend chapter 229, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to digital or electronic advertisement signs.




Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:


            Section A. Chapter 229, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 229.224, to read as follows:

            229.224. Notwithstanding any other law, beginning August 28, 2010, no electronic or digital outdoor signs or billboards intended to advertise or inform shall be erected within one thousand five hundred feet of an intersection located in any county, city, town, village, municipality, state agency, or other political subdivision.
