AN ACT

To repeal section 452.317, RSMo, and to enact in lieu thereof one new section relating to reimbursement of insurance costs during dissolution of marriage proceedings.




Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:


            Section A. Section 452.317, RSMo, is repealed and one new section enacted in lieu thereof, to be known as section 452.317, to read as follows:

            452.317. From the date of filing of the petition for dissolution of marriage or legal separation, no party shall terminate coverage during the pendency of the proceeding for any other party or any minor child of the marriage under any existing policy of health, dental or vision insurance. The policyholder of such insurance may petition the court for reimbursement of insurance costs as they occur during the pendency of the dissolution of marriage or legal separation.
