SB 916 - This act modifies child care facility licensure statutes by removing "summer camps" from the list of exempt facilities and adding "day camps", defined as programs operated by a person or organization with the primary function of providing a recreational program for children 5 years of age or older and providing no child care for children under 5 years of age in the same building or in the same outdoor play area.
This act is identical to HB 1191 (2021).
