SB 1337 - This act requires the Commissioner of Administration, not later than January 1, 2025, to develop standards and guidelines for all departments, divisions, and agencies of the state requiring the removal of any social media application that allows for the collection of personal information or data and allows such information or data to be transferred to a person or entity within a country designated as a foreign adversary pursuant to federal. This provision does not apply to the Missouri State Highway Patrol to the extent necessary to conduct any law enforcement activities.

This provision is substantially similar to SB 1158 (2024) and similar to a provision in SCS/SB 7 (2023) and to SB 596 (2023).
