1.2congratulating Cody Cottingham of Mora, Minnesota, for receiving the
1.3Eagle Award.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.6that is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, Cody Cottingham is a member of the Boy Scouts of America and has
1.8displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.9WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a community
1.10service project, which involved building a baseball dugout for the Mora School District; and
1.11WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held on May 13, 2011, at 7 p.m. at the
1.12Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Pine City; and
1.13NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.14congratulates Cody Cottingham of Mora, Minnesota, for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.15BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.16copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.17Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Cody Cottingham.
