1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Alexander James Veselinovich Turner of Minnetrista,
1.3Minnesota, for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.6that is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, Alexander James Veselinovich Turner is a member of Boy Scouts of America
1.8Troop 3084 and has displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.9WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a
1.10community service project, which involved building a 4 x 14 x 6-1/2 foot tall structure in the
1.11Voyager Environmental Center to benefit the Westonka Community and enable camp members to
1.12observe wildlife at the feeders; and
1.13WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held; and
1.14NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.15congratulates Alexander James Veselinovich Turner for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.16BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.17copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.18Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Alexander James Veselinovich
1.19Turner.
