1.1A Senate resolution
1.2honoring champion wrestler Ryan Epps.
1.3WHEREAS, wrestling demands agility, strength, timing, and stamina in addition to
1.4reservoirs of psychological discipline and resolve; and
1.5WHEREAS, Cannon Falls senior Ryan Epps won the Minnesota State High School Class
1.6AA wrestling championship at 145 pounds at the Xcel Energy Center in February; and
1.7WHEREAS, in April, Epps collected two more state titles, winning both the Freestyle and
1.8Greco-Roman events at 160 pounds at the Minnesota USA Junior State championships; and
1.9NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota
1.10that it recognizes Ryan Epps as one of the Minnesota's most driven and talented athletes and
1.11congratulates him on his wrestling championships.
1.12BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare an
1.13enrolled copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the
1.14Chair of the Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Ryan Epps.
