1.1A Senate resolution
1.2honoring Xai Nou Vang for his many years of service.
1.3WHEREAS, Xai Nou Vang served as Chief Security to the Late Honorable General
1.4Vang Pao; and
1.5WHEREAS, he also served as President of the SGU Veterans and Families of USA, Inc.,
1.6in St. Paul; and
1.7WHEREAS, Xai Nou Vang was a co-organizer for the Hmong-Lao Memorial Statue and
1.8worked closely with Senator Hawj to ensure fair and equal benefits for Hmong Veterans; and
1.9NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.10commends him for his many years of service.
1.11BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare an
1.12enrolled copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the
1.13Chair of the Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Xai Nou Vang.
