1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Martin Alan Gleason for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.3WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.4WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.5that is worthy of recognition; and
1.6WHEREAS, Martin Alan Gleason is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 246 who
1.7has displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member and demonstrated mastery
1.8of all scouting skills; and
1.9WHEREAS, for his community service project, Gleason relandscaped the parsonage for
1.10St. John Lutheran Church in Owatonna; and
1.11WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor was held on April 6, 2014, in recognition of
1.12Martin Alan Gleason; and
1.13NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.14congratulates Martin Alan Gleason for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.15BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.16copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.17Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Martin Alan Gleason.
