1.2relating to public safety; allowing participants in original ignition interlock
1.3device program to drive employer-owned vehicles not equipped with ignition
1.4interlock devices in certain instances.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. ORIGINAL IGNITION INTERLOCK DEVICE PROGRAM; USE
1.7OF EMPLOYER-OWNED VEHICLES.
1.8A person participating in the ignition interlock device program under Minnesota
1.9Statutes 2009, section 171.305, may drive an employer-owned vehicle not equipped with
1.10an interlock device while in the normal course and scope of employment duties with
1.11the employer's written consent.
1.12EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
