1.2relating to capital investment; appropriating money for Lake Elmo water supply
1.3improvements.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. LAKE ELMO; WATER SUPPLY.
1.6$4,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of
1.7employment and economic development for a grant to the city of Lake Elmo to acquire
1.8land and easements, design, construct, and equip a booster station and water main lines
1.9along Inwood Avenue and Lake Elmo Avenue, and to acquire land and easements, design,
1.10construct, and equip a water tower on the corner of Inwood Avenue and 10th Street.
1.11This appropriation is not available until the commissioner of management and budget
1.12determines that at least an equal amount is committed to the project from nonstate sources.
1.13EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
