1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION.
1.6$1,395,000 in fiscal year 2015 is appropriated from the general fund to the
1.7commissioner of agriculture for a grant to the Board of Regents of the University of
1.8Minnesota to fund the Forever Green Agriculture Initiative and protect the state's natural
1.9resources while increasing the efficiency, profitability, and productivity of Minnesota
1.10farmers by incorporating perennial and winter-annual crops into existing agricultural
1.11practices.
