1.2relating to natural resources; permitting the Minneapolis Park and Recreation
1.3Board to recreate Hall's Island in the Mississippi River.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. HALL'S ISLAND PROJECT.
1.6Notwithstanding any law, rule, or regulation to the contrary, the Minneapolis
1.7Park and Recreation Board is authorized to recreate Hall's Island or such similar island
1.8located at approximately river mile 855 on the Mississippi River, just north of the
1.9Plymouth Avenue bridge, at project site in Sec. 15, T.29 N., R.24 W., Hennepin County,
1.10Minnesota. The Department of Natural Resources shall grant any authorizations, permits,
1.11or permissions necessary to effectuate the project.
1.12 Sec. 2. EFFECTIVE DATE.
1.13Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
