1.2relating to employment and economic development; appropriating money for
1.3a grant to the Neighborhood Development Center.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT CENTER.
1.6$200,000 in fiscal year 2012 and $200,000 in fiscal year 2013 are appropriated
1.7from the general fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development
1.8for a grant to the Neighborhood Development Center for developing and supporting
1.9entrepreneurial skills and job creation in communities it serves. Funds may be used
1.10for activities including, but not limited to, business plan training, business workshops,
1.11technical assistance to small business owners, development and support of business
1.12incubators, entrepreneurial network development, and the expansion of entrepreneurial
1.13capacity in communities.
