1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION.
1.6$100,000 in fiscal year 2015 is appropriated from the general fund to the Minnesota
1.7Humanities Center for professional development for kindergarten through grade 12
1.8educators to better culturally engage their work with at-risk student populations. This may
1.9include new and original literature that addresses literacy of emerging cultural communities.
