1.6Minnesota Statutes 2010, sections 168.1253, subdivision 1; 168.33, subdivision
1.77; 171.06, subdivision 2; 198.261; 299A.705, subdivision 3; proposing coding
1.8for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 196.

1.14We, the undersigned conferees for H. F. No. 232 report that we have agreed upon the
1.15items in dispute and recommend as follows:
1.16That the Senate recede from its amendments and that H. F. No. 232 be further
1.17amended as follows:
1.18Page 1, line 14, after "guardian" insert ", child"
1.19Page 1, line 15, after the period, insert "For the purposes of this section, an eligibility
1.20relationship may be established by birth or adoption."
1.21Page 5, after line 19, insert:
1.22 "Sec. 7. Laws 2008, chapter 363, article 11, section 9, the effective date, is amended to
1.23read:
1.24EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective July 1, 2008, and expires June 30,
1.252012."
1.26Amend the title as follows:
1.27Page 1, line 3, after "guardians" insert ", children,"
1.28Page 1, line 4, after the semicolon, insert "making permanent the driver and vehicle
1.29services technology account;"
2.1Correct the title numbers accordingly
1.3relating to state government; expanding eligibility for gold star license plates to
