1.2relating to transportation; highways; designating Nicholas Patrick Spehar
1.3Memorial Highway;amending Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 161.14, by
1.4adding a subdivision.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 161.14, is amended by adding a
1.7subdivision to read:
1.8 Subd. 74. Nicholas Patrick Spehar Memorial Highway. That segment of
1.9Route No. 46, signed as U.S. Highway 8 on the effective date of this section, from the
1.10southwestern border of Chisago City to the eastern border of Center City, is designated
1.11as "Nicholas Patrick Spehar Memorial Highway." Subject to section 161.139, the
1.12commissioner shall adopt a suitable design to mark this highway and erect appropriate
1.13signs.
