1.2relating to state government; appropriating money for public broadcasting.
1.3BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.4 Section 1. PUBLIC BROADCASTING.
1.5$2,000,000 in fiscal year 2014 and $2,000,000 in fiscal year 2015 are appropriated
1.6from the general fund to the commissioner of administration for the purposes specified
1.7below:
1.8(1) $1,685,000 in fiscal year 2014 and $1,685,000 in fiscal year 2015 are for
1.9matching grants for public television; and
1.10(2) $315,000 in fiscal year 2014 and $315,000 in fiscal year 2015 are for public
1.11television equipment grants. Equipment or matching grant allocations shall be made after
1.12considering the recommendations of the Minnesota Public Television Association.
