1.2relating to human services; modifying operating payment rates for a nursing
1.3facility in Meeker County; amending Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 256B.431,
1.4by adding a subdivision.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 256B.431, is amended by adding a
1.7subdivision to read:
1.8 Subd. 46. Rate adjustment for a nursing facility in Meeker County. Effective
1.9October 1, 2013, the operating payment rate of a nursing facility in Meeker County with
1.1054 beds as of January 1, 2013, that is reimbursed under this section, section 256B.434, or
1.11section 256B.441, shall be increased to be equal, for a RUGs rate with a weight of 1.00,
1.12to 110 percent of the geographic group III median rate for the same RUGs weight. The
1.13calculations under this subdivision will be added to the rates before any other operating
1.14rate adjustments effective on October 1, 2013, are computed. The percentage of the
1.15operating payment rate to be case-mix adjusted shall be equal to the percentage that is
1.16case-mix adjusted in the September 30, 2013, operating payment rate.
