1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; FAMILY ASSETS FOR INDEPENDENCE.
1.6$1,000,000 in the biennium beginning July 1, 2011, is appropriated from the general
1.7fund to the commissioner of human services for the family assets for independence grants
1.8under Minnesota Statutes, section 256E.35. Any fund balance at the end of the first year
1.9does not cancel and is available in the second year.
