Sec. 201. Pursuant to section 30 of article IX of the state constitution of 1963, total state spending from state sources under part 1 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2022 is $11,000,000.00 and total state spending from state sources to be paid to local units of government is $11,000,000.00.

Sec. 202. The appropriations made and expenditures authorized under this part and part 1 and the departments, commissions, boards, offices, and programs for which appropriations are made under this part and part 1 are subject to the management and budget act, 1984 PA 431, MCL 18.1101 to 18.1594.

 

DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES

Sec. 301. (1) Funds appropriated in part 1 for essential local public health services must be used to reimburse local health departments in accordance with section 2475 of the public health code, 1978 PA 368, MCL 333.2475, for providing allowable health services.

(2) As used in this section, "allowable health services" includes all of the following:

(a) Immunizations, infectious disease control, sexually 1transmitted disease control and prevention, hearing screenings, and vision services.

(b) Food protection if the service is provided in consultation with the department of agriculture and rural development.

(c) Public water supply, private groundwater supply, and on-site sewage management if the services are provided in consultation with the department of environment, Great Lakes, and energy.
