HOUSE BILL No. 6070

 

 

November 30, 2016, Introduced by Reps. Driskell and Darany and referred to the Committee on Health Policy.

 

     A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled

 

"Public health code,"

 

(MCL 333.1101 to 333.25211) by adding section 21525.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Sec. 21525. A hospital that diagnoses or confirms a case of

 

mushroom poisoning shall report the occurrence of the poisoning to

 

the department of agriculture and rural development. The department

 

of agriculture and rural development shall prescribe the form and

 

manner for reporting under this section.

 

     Enacting section 1. This amendatory act takes effect 90 days

 

after the date it is enacted into law.
