HOUSE BILL NO. 5898
A bill to amend 1939 PA 280, entitled
"The social welfare act,"
(MCL 400.1 to 400.119b) by adding section 109q.
the people of the state of michigan enact:
Sec. 109q. The parent or guardian of an eligible child enrolled in the Healthy Kids Dental program who resides in the Upper Peninsula may pay to the provider of dental services who does not participate in that program the amount of the unpaid balance not covered by the Healthy Kids Dental program.
Enacting section 1. This amendatory act does not take effect unless Senate Bill No.____ or House Bill No. 5899 (request no. 05654'22) of the 101st Legislature is enacted into law.
