HOUSE BILL NO. 5566

A bill to provide for the elimination of daylight saving time in this state.

the people of the state of michigan enact:

Sec. 1. This act may be cited as the "sunrise protection act".

Sec. 3. As authorized in 15 USC 260a, this entire state, including all political subdivisions of this state, is exempt from and shall not follow daylight saving time or the advancement of time as it is otherwise referred to.

Enacting section 1. This act takes effect 90 days after the date it is enacted into law.
