THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

Sec. 384. (1) A state agency which applies for federal

financial assistance or any other form of financial assistance

shall notify the department, the majority leader of the senate, the

speaker of the house of representatives, the appropriations

committees, and the fiscal agencies within 10 days after the

application is sent. The notification to apply for federal

rejection, revision, or deferment of the application to the

department, the majority leader of the senate, the speaker of the

house of representatives, the appropriations committees, and the

fiscal agencies. The notice shall also include all stipulations and

conditions associated with receiving the federal financial

assistance or other form of financial assistance.

     (2) Within 30 days after a state agency receives notice that a

federal grant funds or funds from any other source before this

notification to the legislature has occurred and a subsequent

appropriation of the funds is made by the legislature.
