A bill to amend 1996 PA 160, entitled
"Postsecondary enrollment options act,"
(MCL 388.511 to 388.524) by adding section 4a.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec. 4a. A school district or state approved nonpublic school
shall not deny an eligible student's request to enroll in an
eligible course under this act, restrict an eligible student's
enrollment under this act to only 1 or more specific eligible
postsecondary institutions, or in any other manner restrict or
interfere with an eligible student's enrollment in an eligible
course under this act.
