A bill to amend 1954 PA 116, entitled

"Michigan election law,"

(MCL 168.1 to 168.992) by adding section 612a.

the people of the state of michigan enact:

Sec. 612a. (1) An individual elected as a precinct delegate or selected as a delegate to a state or national political party convention is not required to pay dues to the political party in order to participate or vote at a county, state, or national convention of that political party.

(2) A political party shall not require an individual elected as a precinct delegate or selected as a delegate to a state or national political party convention to pay dues to the political party in order to participate or vote at a county, state, or national convention of that political party.
