A bill to amend 1961 PA 236, entitled
"Revised judicature act of 1961,"
(MCL 600.101 to 600.9947) by adding section 2170.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec. 2170. (1) In a court action or proceeding in this state,
the testimony of a witness who is a vulnerable adult may be
presented to the court or jury by closed circuit television, video
recording, or other similar means.
(2) As used in this section, "vulnerable adult" means that
terms as defined in section 145m of the Michigan penal code, 1931
PA 328, MCL 750.145m.
