A bill to limit the compensation for positions in the
executive branch of state government that are not a part of the
classified service.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec. 1. (1) This act shall be known and may be cited as the
"appointed position compensation limitation act".
(2) Any officer or employee who holds an appointed position in
the executive branch of state government that is not a part of the
classified service shall receive compensation for that position
that is no more than the amount recommended by the civil service
commission pursuant to section 5 of article XI of the state
constitution of 1963.
