HOUSE BILL No. 4454

 

 

March 30, 2017, Introduced by Rep. Santana and referred to the Committee on Local Government.

 

     A bill to amend 1846 RS 16, entitled

 

"Of the powers and duties of townships, the election and duties of

township officers, and the division of townships,"

 

(MCL 41.1a to 41.110c) by adding section 1c.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Sec. 1c. Beginning on the effective date of the amendatory act

 

that added this section, the provisions of sections 1a to 110c of

 

this chapter are subject to the local government professional

 

services selection act.

 

     Enacting section 1. This amendatory act takes effect 90 days

 

after the date it is enacted into law.

 

     Enacting section 2. This amendatory act does not take effect

 

unless Senate Bill No. ____ or House Bill No. 4447 (request no.

 

02312'17) of the 99th Legislature is enacted into law.
