HOUSE BILL No. 4051

 

January 13, 2011, Introduced by Reps. Meadows and Agema and referred to the Committee on Families, Children, and Seniors.

 

     A bill to amend 1939 PA 280, entitled

 

"The social welfare act,"

 

(MCL 400.1 to 400.119b) by adding section 57v.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Sec. 57v. (1) The Michigan bridge card shall not be used to

 

withdraw cash from an automated teller machine.

 

     (2) No recipient shall use his or her Michigan bridge card to

 

purchase lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
