Summary

Establishing the High School Level of Registered Youth Apprenticeships Program in the Maryland Department of Labor to enable high school students to accelerate their acquisition of occupational skills and work experience; requiring each local board of education to cooperate with the Department and certain sponsors for certain purposes; authorizing a student participating in the Program to start at a certain time; requiring participating employers to pay a student at least a certain minimum wage; etc.
