Summary

Providing that the Maryland Medical Practice Act does not prohibit specified individuals who provide complementary and alternative health services from practicing in the State; authorizing a wellness practitioner to practice in the State if the wellness practitioner has not had a license restricted, suspended, or revoked without subsequent reinstatement, has not been convicted of specified crimes or adjudicated to be mentally incompetent, and does not take specified actions as a wellness practitioner or otherwise; etc.
