Summary

Altering a specified provision of law prohibiting the use of a text messaging device while operating a motor vehicle in specified circumstances to prohibit the use of a wireless communication device while operating a motor vehicle in motion or in the travel portion of the roadway; and altering a specified exception to provide that the Act does not apply to the use of a wireless communication device to contact a 9-1-1 system.
