Summary

Establishing the Maryland Tax Revision Commission to analyze the State's current tax systems, propose solutions for meeting the State's projected revenue needs, identify certain economic activities, evaluate tax credits and abatements; requiring the Commission to make recommendations regarding beneficial changes to the State's revenue structure, broadening the tax base, making the State's tax policy more competitive with other states, and reporting its findings to the Governor and the General Assembly on or before December 1, 2021; etc.
