Summary

Authorizing Harford County to impose, after a public hearing, a hotel rental tax at not more than 5%; authorizing Harford County to provide an exemption from the hotel rental tax for transient charges paid by specified nonprofits to provide temporary shelter for specified individuals; requiring Harford County to distribute the hotel rental tax revenue to the county general fund; providing that in Harford County unpaid hotel rental tax is a lien against the real and personal property of the person owing the tax; etc.
