Summary

Altering the unemployment insurance charging and taxation system; decreasing the standard rate of contribution that specified employing units are required to pay; requiring the Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation to notify employing units; terminating the Act if the balance of the Unemployment Fund reaches the amount required for ยง 8-612(d)(3) of the Labor and Employment Article to apply; terminating the Act after December 31, 2011, if the balance does not reach the required amount; etc.
